James Van Der Beek e la moglie Kimberly Brook stanno nuovamente affrontando il dramma dell’aborto. Dopo 3 gravidanze andate male, la consorte del Dawson Leery di Dawson’s Creek ha avuto un altro aborto spontaneo (aspettavano il sesto figlio, cliccate qui per i dettagli) che questa volta però è accaduto in un momento inoltrato della gravidanza. Sui social l’attore ha fatto sapere che Kimberly ha rischiato anche la vita.

“Siamo distrutti. Devastati. Sotto choc” ha scritto James Van Der Beek. “È così che ci sentiamo subito dopo che l’anima a cui pensavamo di dare il benvenuto nella nostra famiglia in aprile ha preso una scorciatoia per ciò che è oltre questa vita. Ci siamo già passati prima, ma mai così avanti nella gravidanza e mai accompagnati da questo senso di minaccia così spaventoso, orribile per la salute di Kimberly. Sono grato che ora si stia riprendendo, ma ora stiamo facendo i conti con tutto il resto”.

Quindi l’attore ha ringraziato quanti per l’estrema vicinanza alla sua famiglia e poi ha proseguito: “Come molti di voi hanno detto: ‘Non ci sono parole’ ed è vero. Ecco perché in un momento come questo, è sufficiente sapere che ci siete. Unirsi al dolore e alle nostre preghiere, oggi”.

Wrecked. Devastated. In shock. That’s how we’re feeling right now after the soul we thought were going to welcome into our family in April… has taken a short cut to whatever lies beyond this life. We’ve been through this before, but never this late in the pregnancy, and never accompanied by such a scary, horrific threat to @vanderkimberly and her well-being. Grateful that she’s now recovering, but we’ve only just begun unpacking the layers of this one. Thank you to all of our friends and co-workers (and dance partners) who have shown up for us so beautifully during this time. As many of you have said, “There are no words…” and it’s true. Which is why in a time like this it’s enough to know that you’re there. Grieving AND counting our blessings today.
